Josh Denny, MD, is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics and Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency as a Tinsley Harrison Scholar at Vanderbilt. His interests in medical informatics began while in medical school with the development of a concept-based curriculum database to improve medical education. Other interests include natural language processing, clinical phenomics to support genome-phenome correlation, just-in-time information delivery, and terminology development. Dr. Denny serves on several local committees and remains active in teaching medical students and clinical roles.
